Andreas Mattmüller

Since summer 2001 Andreas Mattmüller is responsible as Senior Vice President Middle East for all Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East & Asia.

Gratuated from Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne, he started his career with various independent hotels in Switzerland.

In 1979, he moved to Asia to join the Peninsula Group prior to his appointment as Resident Manager of the Regal Meridien Airport Hotel, Hong Kong, in the mid eighties.

After the position of General Manager of Le Meridien Kuwait from 1986 to 1989, he returned to Asia to run Le Meridien Phuket in Thailand for 5 years. Mandarin Oriental hired A. Mattmüller in 1994 to become General Manager of The Oriental, Singapore and from 1997 to 2001 he served Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as Operations Director Asia/ Europe, based in Hong Kong.
