Wine Village 22.08 - 02.09.2012
The Stuttgart Wine Village (Weindorf) is one of the largest and finest wine festivals in Germany with more than 1 million visitors each year. For wine tasters and Swabian cuisine enthusiasts, it is the place to be.
In the marketplace, at Schillerplatz and Kirchstrasse, around 120 cosy wine alcoves are decorated in the Swabian folklore tradition. For about 12 days around the end of August to the beginning of September, some 250 different wines from the Württemberg region are served.
With such a large choice, ranging from Trollinger, Riesling, Kerner, Müller-Thurgau, Schwarzriesling, Ruländer, Schillerwein, Lemberger or Weissherbst wine, it's hard to decide.
