Nuremberg
is a city with medieval flair. There is a wealth of sights that bring history to life. These include the historic Kaiserburg Castle, the National Germanic Museum being the largest museum of German art and culture, Dokumentationszentrum and the Nuremberg Zoo.
The city centre is a great place for shopping and the metro, only 50 metres from the hotel, brings you directly from the north of Nuremberg to the city centre in just 12 minutes.
Nuremberg is famous for delicious gingerbread and sausages. And, not to forget, for the wonderful Christmas market taking place annually at the main market. Nuremberg is also home to toy and pencil makers such as Staedtler Mars, Stabilo and Faber Castell. It's also the city that set the scene for Wagner's opera "Meistersinger von Nürnberg" and was artist Albrecht Dürer's birthplace.
