Île aux Benitiers includes a large island with coconut plantations and a smaller Îlot. The main island permanently inhabited is 2 km long and 500 m wide lying off of La Gaulette Village. On the northern tip of the main island there are small colonies of migratory birds. Ile aux benitiers is the ideal place for snorkeling.

Ile aux Aigrettes is a small island off the southeastern coast of Mauritius in the Mahebourg Bay lagoon. You can view some of the world's most endangered species, including the Mauritius kestrel, the pink pigeon, the day gecko and the Aldabran giant tortoise.
