Singing sand dunes
The sand dunes are one of the most visited and most interesting and beautiful phenomenons in Qatar. The significant formations and molds of sand dunes grow and change in shape caused by the action of the prevailing winds. Due to these shape formations, the wind produces a sound which may sound like singing. The exceptional surroundings against the blue sky or at night with the full moon is a favourite theme for photographers.
