Established in the 1920s as the Musée Louis Finot, the museum is housed in a building which typifies the hybrid Indochinese style of architecture. It traces the history of Vietnamese people from the early times to the present day with displays of cultural and ethnological significance. Exhibits cover an area of more than 2,000 square metres. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 8 am to 11.30 am.
